This new program is designed to build familiarity and confidence with the Olympic Lifts (Snatch and Clean and Jerk), increasing strength and technical proficiency over time. The classes will cover a 6 week period from Feb 13 to March 26, meeting Tu/Th 6pm and Sat at 9am, and open gym on Sunday will be a 4th optional day per week.
Dedicated 6 weeks long program – 3 days a week with an optional 4th day (athletes may only do 2 days in a row at a time)
Everyone who signs up will be emailed a questionnaire which will help us personalize your workouts which will be sent to you prior to the start date.
Designed for new to intermediate lifters and does not require an established 1RM
Based a “going by feel: progression where the athlete can either move up in weight each set if technique is adequate or stick to the same weight
The final week will have the athlete test for a new 1RM
We wanted to make this as accessible to as many members as we could so if night sessions don’t work for you, you will be able to do your weightlifting workouts at anytime the gym is open.
